The historical era of the New Testament, the first century A.D, was a crucial time period when messianic prophecies were fulfilled, God’s plan for human salvation was finished through Jesus Christ, and the church was formed. This course explores these events throughout the 27 books of the New Testament, placing special focus on each book’s author, audience, theme, purpose, and message.
